USA Fencing is the recognized national governing body for the sport of fencing in the United States.  USA Fencing is affiliated with the Federation Internationale d’Escrime (FIE), the international federation for fencing.  The mission of USA Fencing is to develop fencers to achieve international success and to administer and promote the sport in the United States.   The website features a “find a club” search engine, information on athletes, national and international competitions.

Capitol Division – The Capitol Division is among more than 60 USFA Divisions nationwide that support, enhance, and develop the sport of fencing at the local level.  The Capitol Division, which includes clubs in Washington, DC and Maryland, administers local activities and conducts competitions for USFA members.  A listing of all Capitol Division competitions and clubs can be found here.

askFRED is the Fencing Results and Events Database.  AskFred lists tournaments all over the country; a search engine allows users to search for tournament by location, date, weapon, age, and rating. is the primary message board for the U.S. fencing community.  The site also features blogs, training articles, gear guides, and merchandise.
