2024 Summer Nationals – That’s a Wrap!
Thanks to all our fencers who faced off and fought hard against fencers from across the country at the 2024 USA Fencing National Championships and July Challenge (aka Summer Nationals), held June 29 – July 8 in Columbus, Ohio. DCFCers were among 6,200 fencers from 45 states and 10 countries who competed at this event. USA Fencing described it as not only the largest fencing tournament in USA Fencing history but also, possibly the largest fencing event ever held on earth.
We thank our families and friends for your support. Kudos to the bout committee (including DCFCer Katelyn Keegan) and the referee cadre for running a smooth program. Finally, we salute Coaches Byron and David for helping us fence our best at this massive 10-day event. Well done, all!
