To my DCFC Family,
In my 28 years on and off as a member of DCFC, my fencing accolades never contributed much to the club’s history, but the club has certainly contributed to mine. It was in 1994 that I first stepped into Alice Deal High School and began to work with Janusz. Little did I know that putting an Épée in this 8 year old’s hand would be game-changing and push me down a lifelong road of devotion to this sport. That love all began in the walls of DCFC, so naturally, I had to get the logo tattooed on me!
As many of you know, I’m running for At-Large Director of USA Fencing. My goal as a Director is to make this sport more inclusive for all while operating with unprecedented transparency.
