DCFC brings home more than a dozen medals from 2014 Summer Nationals

DC Fencers Club sent 62 fencers and six coaches to the US Fencing Summer National Championships and July North American Cup, a two week-extravaganza held June 22 – July 3 in Columbus, Ohio. With more than 4,000 fencers of all ages from all over the country competing, this is the largest fencing tournament in the world. Congratulations to all our DC Fencers Club members who are getting in the game, and on the great results from our members.
The Summer Nationals were the culmination of one of the best seasons in the DCFC’s history. Club members earned many medals in all kinds of competitions including World Championships, Pan American Championships and National Championships.
A special salute to our Summer Nationals medalists, who brought home more than a dozen medals from Columbus, Ohio. And kudos to all DCFC members who gave it their best in Columbus.
