Bethesda Magazine Highlights World Champion Kristin Foellmer and DCFC
Look who made the news! DC Fencers Club thanks Bethesda Magazine for their profile of club member Kristin Foellmer, who won the championship title in Vet 50 Women’s Epee at the 24th Veteran Fencing World Championships in Bahrain last November.
Vet Worlds brings together the best veteran fencers (age 40 and up) from around the globe to compete in epee, sabre, and foil in both individual and team events.
The Bethesda Magazine story also highlights other DCFC Club Members who have earned individual and team championship titles over the years, including Kaz Campe, Lisa Dobloug, Valerie Asher, and Joe Deucher. For 28 years and counting, DC Fencers Club has sent athletes to this premiere world class event. We are proud of you, Kristin, and all of our powerhouse vet fencer club mates!
