DC Fencers Club salutes student- athletes named to All-Academic Team

Congratulations to DC Fencers Club members who were named to the USA Fencing and Absolute Fencing Gear All-Academic Team during the Summer Nationals in Anaheim, CA last week.  For the third year, USA Fencing and Absolute Fencing Gear have partnered to recognized more than 170 young fencers who have excelled in high school, including scholarships to four young fencers totaling $10,000.  Athletes with a GPA of at least 3.85 were named to the First All-Academic Team.  Second Team athletes included those whose GPAs were 3.7- 3.84.
