Peter Souders takes a top eight spot at the December 2013 NAC

Congratulations to all our members who competed the December 2013 North American Cup in Dallas, Texas. This national tournament featured events in all three weapons (foil, epee, and sabre) in the categories of Division 1 (fencers ranked C or higher), along with Cadet (under 17) and Veteran (40+).

A special congratulations to Jim Adams, who did the hat trick at the December 2013 NAC. In three days in a row, Jim took gold in Vet 70 Men’s Foil, silver in Vet 70 Men’s Sabre, and bronze in Vet 70 Men’s Epee. Fellow veteran fencer Kaz Campe took silver in Vet 70 Men’s Epee.
Kudos also to DCFC Coach and member Peter Souders, who advanced to the top eight (sixth place) in Division 1 Men’s Sabre. Several other DCFC fencers also took home medals for advancing to the top eight in their respective events.
