Gold and silver for DCFCers at the latest Champagne Challenge
DCFCers took the top spots at the latest Champagne Challenge, held February 25, 2018 at DC Fencers Club.
Thanks to all the fencers from fencing clubs across the Washington and Baltimore region who joined us at this strong A2 event.
Congratulations to Joe Deucher, who won his first-ever Champagne Challenge gold today. Kudos also to Justin Haddad on taking silver. David Hitchcock of Bay State Fencers and William Tae of Penta Olympic Fencing Club tied for bronze.
Mark your calendars, the next senior mixed opens at DCFC take place on Sunday March 4 (Friends of DCFC Friendly Open [Epee/Sabre/Foil) and the next Champagne Challenge (Senior Mixed Epee) is March 25.
