Gold in Columbus! Results from the 2019 Summer National Championships
Congratulations to all our fencers from Youth 10 to Vet 80 who gave their best at the 2019 USA Fencing Fencing National Championships and July Challenge. The 10-day, mammoth event – with more than 5,000 entrants – was held from June 28 through July 7 in Columbus, Ohio.
A grand salute to veteran fencers Valerie Asher, Theo Pary, and Joe Deucher, whose results at Nationals helped lock in their spots to represent Team USA at Vet World Championships in Cairo this fall. Jim Adams swept the Vet 80 demonstration events, with gold in all three weapons (foil, sabre, and epee).
We thank our coaches, families, and friends for your support, and we offer a special salute to those fencers who attained top eight spots.
