Pumped up at The Arnold
Three DCFCers took a road trip to Columbus, Ohio to participate in The Arnold Fencing Classic, a ROC that is part of a multisport festival organized by the Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“The Arnold” the world’s largest multi-sport festival, with 22 thousand athletes competing in 80 sports, including fencing. The fencing event included out of this world medals presentations by Star Wars characters.
Congratulations to Marie Lawson and Dahyun Kang who both made the top 8 in the Division 1 Women’s Epee event Sally Gifford took bronze in the Vet Women’s Epee event. Three fencers, three medals, not bad!
As they say in the movies, “I’ll be back!”
