Congratulations to all our veteran fencers who came out for the Tom Wright Memorial Veteran Fencing Tournament. In the mixed epee tournament, DC Fencers Club members Valerie Asher, Theodore Pary, and Henry Chung took the Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, and Henry Chung earned his C2011. Don Rickerson of Recreational Fencing of Manassas also took third place. The top three women competitors in epee were Valerie Asher and Diane Trice of DC Fencers Club, and D.C. Pixie Roane, director of Wallingford-Swarthmore Panthers Fencing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. More results at askfred.net. Posted 10.16.11
