Six Gold and a Dozen Podium Spots for DCFC at Fairfax Challenge
Things are opening up, and DCFCers wasted no time in returning to the podium. DCFC fencers excelled at this weekend’s Fairfax Challenge Summer ROC/RJCC/RYC/VET, June 2021. We thank our coaches and families for your guidance and support, we applaud all our fencers on getting in the game, and we salute those who earned top eight spots. A tip of the hat to Faith Park on her double gold in Junior Women’s Epee and Div1A Women’s Epee. Lauren Johnson earned triple silver in Div 1A Women’s Sabre, as well as the Cadet and Junior Women’s Sabre categories. She joined her siblings Langston, Lydia, and Leland on earning top eight spots at youth sabre events this weekend. Well done, all!
