Teamwork makes the dream work at DCFC
Thanks to everyone who joined the fun at the Third Friends of DCFC Epee Team Challenge, held Sunday, June 3 at DCFC. There were eleven men’s and seven women’s epee teams, featuring vets, youth, and multigenerational teams. All demonstrated strong fencing, and some came with inventive names and costumery.
Proceeds from the event go to The Friends of DCFC, which supports aspiring competitive fencers.
A special salute to the following teams who took top spots, including defending WTE champs, Mrs. Pankhurst’s Amazons.
Men’s Team Epee

2 – The Three Pentateers (Nirali Igoe, Faith Park, Rakyung Lee)
3 – Muffin Snuggling Pirate Punchers (Amanda Sirico, Yunice Pyo, Emilie Reitinger)
